The Balsam Lake Farmers Market is open Fridays from 3-6pm downtown Balsam Lake from Memorial Day weekend in May until the second weekend in October. Local vendors have vegetables, honey, maple syrup, fresh eggs, canned salsa, ham, jelly, and sometimes flowering plants and herbs. Local craft vendors also attend bringing in hand made jewelry, lotions, soaps, quilts, and creative woodworking items
